Filament winding carbon fiber tube are manufactured in which continuous carbon fibers, are wound under tension at specified angles. As they are wound, the fibers are impregnated in a resinous matrix. Under heat, the carbon fibers and resin cure into a strong and durable tube.

 

Filament winding process allows producing longer length single carbon fiber tubes and is excellent for beautiful surfaces, high temperature and high torsion applications, such as industrial idler rollers, photography equipment, sporting goods, bicycles, automation parts, etc.
